Political interest for ArcticSkills

This week Kirkenes Upper secondary had a visit from The Norwegian Ministry of Local Administration and Modernization by political secretary Anne Karin Olli and her senior advisers, Odd Godal and Ingrid Wik, with responsibility for  questions of development of the Northern Areas. The purpose of the visit was to get information about the pre-project ArcticSkills, which was partly financed by means from the Norwegian Kolarctic financial program, administered by the Ministry.

In Kirkenes, they met experts and former participants of ArcticSkills who willingly shared their experiences with the delegation for more than one hour. After the meeting secretary Olli underlined the importance of projects like ArcticSkills in the development of education in the high North.
