Murmansk Technological College of Service celebrates the 55th anniversary of its foundation. Governor Andrey Chibis visited the educational institution.
“It’s great that the Murmansk Technological College of Service has a huge number of smart, talented and proactive students. The college has already turned 55 years old, and it continues to provide our society with its specialists. The institution today is the basic educational institution for the ArcticSkills program. And our main task is for the children to study and be able to find themselves in life, – said the head of the region. – We discussed that it is also necessary for the college to have business partners. Let’s try to make sure that students have an interesting practice, and they get a start in life. “
As part of the solemn event dedicated to the anniversary of the educational institution, Andrei Chibis presented a memorable address to the director of the college, Alexandra Yurgalova. The badge “Honorary Worker of Education of the Murmansk Region” was awarded to the head of the methodological department Lyudmila Pushkova. In addition, eight more teachers and employees of MTKS received thanks and certificates of honor from the Governor of the Murmansk Region and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
As the director of the educational institution, Alexandra Yurgalova, said in her speech, over the entire history of the college, more than 12.5 thousand skilled workers and mid-level specialists have been trained for service enterprises in the Murmansk region. Currently, 1120 students are studying at the educational institution. The picture shows a fashion presentation which was one of many events on the anniversary
